Hello there. I guess this is where I put a bit about me. The bit that might be relevant to anyone else – so what might that be?. Is it the bit about living in Auckland, New Zealand with my husband and three cats. Is it the bit about being a fourth (or is it fifth?) generation Aucklander. Maybe I should include the fact that I’m a rabid sci-fi fan, I love and have an eclectic taste in music. Probably more relevant is that I’ve worked in the online ’space’ for 7 or 8 years now but I do not have either a technical or marketing background. I like to think I can have a semi intelligent conversation about either discipline. I am mostly interested in the web as a business, social and cultural phenomenon. How to leverage it’s benefits and make the most of the opportunities. Mitigate the risks, discard (or disregard) the fads and things people do for no other reason than because they can. So mostly this blog is going to be about web stuff or stuff that I find on the web. From time to time I might also write about PC games because I like those too.
